There's no way I can eat meat or dairy after watching that video. You've converted me, that's for sure. And the workers at those plants (especially the ones that seem to torture the animals for as an "extracurricular" activity, need to have some serious psychiatric evaluation.
though cruel some of this footage is, it's mostly footage that's taken from plants and Farms in China, Japan, Brazil, and parts of Europe. Due to Animal Rights laws, the process of meat and dairy has been changed to prevent manhandling of animals which can cause low graded meats and dairy to be sold to public for consumption. Majority of animals that are slamming, slapped, tossed around, or gassed are means of death preformed in countries that have little to no Animal Rights. Also the segment of the man slamming the Piglet onto the floor was proven to be an infiltrated ASPCA who created the footage of slamming the animals on the floor as a means to destroy the animal instead of the process that is assigned and constantly practiced as a humane course of death (knocking, piercing the animals skull with an pressurized gun that fires a rod into the brain, the result causes an instant death. Gasp and tremors are the nervous system resulting in a shutdown). The FDA doesn't condone the harsh treatment of animals even through they are assigned to slaughter.
and a fun fact, 70% of US meat is purchased by Japan. 10% is purchased by European countries, and the remaining 20% is sold in your local grocer. How I know this, I actually worked at a Beef Plant in Southern California, where they slaughtered Cattle. So i'm not a complete tool pulling things out of my butt. Just trying to explain both sides to the story.
